At strømmekrigen mellom de internasjonale gigantene har tiltatt det siste året er det ingen tvil om. Alt dette kommer oss forbrukere til gode – med et stadig større utvalg av kvalitetsserier og -filmer.

Selv om den skandinaviske sommeren (tradisjonen tro) skulle bli preget av ustabilt vær, med skiftende skydekke, regn og lave temperaturer, så frykt ikke! Inne venter 84-tommeren på deg – så nå er det bare å tegne et abonnement på x-antall strømmetjenester.

Akkurat nå konsolideres bransjen, med oppkjøp og fusjoner. Prime Video kommer til å bli en stadig mer interessant strømmetjeneste.

Juni byr på rekordmange titler, men det er mye gråstein og relansering av katalogtitler blant månedens nyheter.

Netflix lokker med den første islandske TV-serien, Katla, regissert av selveste Baltasar Kormákur. Gå heller ikke glipp av del II av den franske originalserien Lupin, sesong 1. Jennifer Jason Leigh kan du se i filmen Awake, eller hva med den nye serien Sex/Life? Helena Bergström ser du i Dancing Queens.

Disney flesker til med en ny original Marvel-serie, Loki (med en infam Tom Hiddleston i hovedrollen som den villstyrige guden); minst like mye gleder vi oss til den nye Pixar-filmen, Luca, satt til pittoreske Italia.

PS! Om du ikke valgte å betale ekstra for Raya og den siste dragen, kan du fra den 4. juni se den gratis på Disney+.

Prime Video har svært lite nytt å friste med i sommervarmen, med et mulig unntak av antologiserien Solos, der blant annet Morgan Freeman har en rolle. Heller ikke Apple TV+ har tatt seg bryet med å lansere noen nye, store titler i lavsesongen. Home Before Dark, sesong 2 var den eneste serien vi fant av interesse.

Bosch, sesong 7 (avslutningssesongen!) er så definitivt det mest spennende innholdet fra HBO Nordic denne måneden; i tillegg anbefaler vi del II av Generation.

Nykommeren Paramount+ byr på den nye serien Flatbush Misdemeanors, en upolert komedie om vennene Dan og Kevin og deres liv i Brooklyn. I tillegg kan du se Angelina Jolie i Come Away, Natalie Dormer i Penny Dreadful: City of Angels og Keira Knightley i varslerfilmen Official Secrets.

Her hjemme byr Viaplay på to nye originalserier: Max Anger og Dystopia. Begge storsatsinger som nok vil finne sitt publikum. Like fullt, selveste rosinen i pølsebiten i juni er lanseringen av samtlige sesonger av hedonisten Hank Moody (David Duchovny) i Californication – det kaller vi lett sommerunderholdning!

Klynger du deg fortsatt til fysiske medier, så anbefaler vi 4K UHD BD-utgivelsen av Indiana Jones-serien, samt samtlige av X-Men-filmene.
